Normal words

but with Will Arnett’s voice!

Should I bother with this show? I’ve heard it’s pozzed, but I can enjoy a show as long as it’s not aggressively in your face with the globo shit and is otherwise good. Mad Men, The Wire, Downton Abbey, and The Gilded Age are all shows that had some pozzed bullshit but were otherwise good. It’s probably harder to do with comedy; the closest thing I can think of was Crashing, which was pretty damn pozzed but was mostly watchable, although there were parts I had to skip through because they were so nauseating. Anyway, what of Bojack, and also recommend other shows that are good despite some globohomo shit, I need something to watch.

it's just a boring melodrama... but the guy is a horse

I also hate how all these animated shows now have marginally talented but already famous people doing all the voice work now. A job that a voice actor would actually appreciate and use to pay the bills instead goes instead into Will Arnett’s already well-stocked money bin where it will generate interest until it’s eventually spent on a speedboat by one of his dumb fuck grandchildren or the fentanyl-laced cocaine that kills him.

It's OK. There's some really amazingly terrible episodes where writers start having opinions but they are few and far in between, and main conflict in the final season feels very contrived.
Otherwise it's an amusing mix of absurd satire and somber moments about depression, addiction and other shit like that.

It's pretty good, the poz is mostly limited to mental health awareness stuff

How can anyone go through life being this autistically internet poisoned?

Sounds not too bad then, as there’s really no way I can think of to push that aggressively. Mad Men for example, has some female empowerment stuff, but it’s done with humor and in service of a good story. The Batgirl show, meanwhile, just has a girl literally punching a man’s face off. It’s woke porn.

There's definitely "girl power" shit but it's grounded and self-aware

It's pretty kino ngl desu

Fuck off, faggot. I don’t want aggressively pro-Trump or libertarian shows either, But there’s none of those on TV. I’m breaking my own rule here, replying to probable left-wing bait, but seriously, either comment on the show or recommend another, or fuck off.

Bojack is great, not woke either.

Well, some of it is woke, but I can write most of it as character flaw of Diane's.
Except for gun control episode which is just brain-obliterating. Because as far as I understand the conclusion of it is
>gun control is inherently misogynistic, we wish republicans would realize that and support it.

yea', that's basically just her being the character, they make fun of it too, it's pretty neutral.
Bojack is good overall, and some episodes are just masterpieces on their own
the view from halfway down, free churo and fish out of water for example

Haha, I can kind of do the math in my head: women need guns to protect themselves so to take the guns away makes women more vulnerable and likely to be victims of violent crimes, so republicans should love that and support it! Am I close?

Did you miss the #metoo episode?

It's more along the line of "Ya'll hypocrites, you would NEVER stand up for gun rights if a woman did a mass shooting" but they make pretty compelling argument on how gun rights are good for women, which is weird because I don't think this was a pro-2A episode.

.....a woman did do a mass shooting, though.

a character being woke doesn't mean a show preaches wokeness

what about if all of the characters are woke?

Diane is the only woke character, and as another user pointed out above, it's a character flaw, show even makes fun of it.

It's a bit pozzed (not too much especially by today's standards), its intended audience is women and zoomers. But it's still one of my favorite shows. Give it a try.
