enjoy this old outdated crap

it's nothing special desu and I doubt it will have a big impact but it might help a bit, so it's good
there are talks about sending Leopard 2 too, Spain already said they wanna send some, that would be better

I wonder if you can ambush a T72B3 with this garbage and pierce the hull side armour

The Gepard is paper thin, would be seen a mile away, and would need to fire point blank.
This isn't Warthunder. I don't see these being used in direct fire when you can just use a BMP for that.

This belongs to a museum

To be fair, that describes most of what Russia is now deploying in Ukraine.

good enough fighting against the current russian army

The new Abrams is going to be lit

>140mm main gun
>35mm/50mm roof mounted autocannon (for use against roof rats, with Russian bastard detector safe)
>semi-unmanned turret
>even MORE powerful gas turbine engine with electrified
>on board drone and dedicated recon officers station next to driver
>new gen armor
>smart munitions

THE BIG YES

I suspect we're going to be giving Poland (or possibly even other Euros) more of our older army reserve and ex Marine Abrams and replace them in army service with these new Abrams.

it's still perfectly fine to take out helicopters, planes and drones, maybe even cruise missiles
Qatar bought them to protect world cup stadiums against terrorist drone attacks, and it's not like they couldn't afford other stuff with all their oil money

Sad that they will be pretty useless without proper crews
Would rape all russians tanks otherwise

No APS, no deal.

You could but it'd be risky because the Gepard is lightly armored itself.

>not buying modern battle proven korkut system from turkey which shot down numerous chinese drones in libya

Nigga that shit is like 50 years old

they're getting the Gepards for free, you roaches don't even sanction Russia

youtu.be/r0ee_uq37iM

imagine taking down low flying su 24 with mighty tvrk cannons

>they're getting the Gepards for free
fucking retarded.
they should pay for this instead, even ammunition for this shit is free.

It has integrated active protection now. The turret has an autoloader so there is now more free space in the turret similar to the Armata integral APS but the US can actually afford to mass produce these. It's the same 140mm gun and loader that they've been wanting to put on the Abrams since the 80s but modernized. USSR collapsed so it was seen as unneeded because no one thought modern Russia would start war with NATO but now it's a strong possibility.

The weak should fear the strong.

they're getting hundreds of millions from us and the EU too
Turkey only sells them stuff and Erdogan just met with Putin and talked nice to him

>they're getting hundreds of millions from us and the EU too
these are actually loans with low interest rates, so technically they are not free

@168423352

turkey broke deal between ukr and ru for grain transport after the meeting. cope+seethe.
