Any country east of the Oder

most of ex eastern bloc

the Elbe*

it will actually be fine in 10-15 years when the trees will grow

we don't have orthodox churches in commieblock neighborhoods here

not to mention our blocks look different than Russian

its too clean and orderly to be Bulgaria or Romania

dare I say Belaruse?

that's an explicitly Orthodox church though, are you guys sure?

this looks like an actual progress.
Left to right
2000s block
2010s block
2020s block
i guess the next ones will be fully covered in glass or something.

It looks too spread out for comfiness. Probably far from any business/working areas and only get like 1 bus per hour.
Could be somewhere in Riga for sure.

i mean right to left, i'm retarded

>Probably far from any business/working areas and only get like 1 bus per hour.
there's a metro station on the picture. You can get wherever you want whenever you want.

theres several orthidix churches in vienna, pic rel the russian orthodox church near the russian embassy

Oh, didn't notice that. We don't have metro in Riga. :(

that's what I wanted to say. this could be Berlin for all I care about

as far as I know in Moscow a metro ride from A to B can last for an hour too

Change the church and slap some balconies on those apartments and it could be here. Did you guys start adding balconies after the soviet fall or is that still not a priority?

depends where you live and where you're going but yeah.
30-40 minutes to get out the bedroom disctricts

So the buildings are so ugly you need trees to hide them?

that's a pretty church, thanks for sharing
it's the outskirts of Moscow, the capital is like 7 different cities stitched together, but the public transport is very good here, the subway stations are everywhere

it's irrelevant what buildings look like, when the trees grow out you feel like you live in an actual forest whhen you look out your window. Trees are everywhere.

Watch the last minutes where he describes Ukraine now.

ukraine, belarus, if it wasn't for that orthodox church or whatever it is in-between the commieblocks then also poland would fit in
