The only movies I pay to see in theaters anymore are cape shit movies or the occasional non capeshit big blockbuster movie. Everything else I torrent and watch at home. Does this make me a pleb?

I'm honestly the same way. Not because I wouldn't enjoy watching other movies in the cinema but because I have no friends and don't feel comfortable going to the cinema alone. My brother invites me to watch capeshit at the cinema with him because his gf doesn't watch it (with exception of Spider-Man, only because she has the hots for Tom Holland).

Same. Last movie I saw in theaters was Dr Strange 2. Last one before that was NWH. Feels good to contribute to killing movies.

Opposite for me. Now that I live near an arthouse theater I go all the time to see alt stuff whereas capeshit I can see it in streaming.

just go when you know there wont be anyone. I have a few friends but they only watch capeshit, if there is a film I really want to see I just go by myself. I arrive just as the film starts and leave as soon as it finishes. People usually dont care about you, I guess you just need to avoid teenagers, for that reason I never go at the weekend

Plus there's occasionally times good guys will fail, such as Thanos snapping away half the population in Infinity War, Peter essentially losing all his friends and family in No Way Home, Thor getting his planet destroyed in Ragnarok, Loki ending up with a worse TVA and Kang to deal with.
