That scene is good but this is probably my favourite from any film ever made

Thought that stuck out like a sore thumb tbf

Good but odd camera choice. It looked like a documentary reenactment.

>Jamie Foxx sabotaged Mikey's vision of this crime epic from pre-production through the end of shooting
>we'll never see the true grand finale he intended because Foxx was a prima donna and bitched out
>'The plan had been to shoot for a few days in a local mall and then for three weeks in an abandoned building outside town, where they'd film a climactic gun battle that was said to rival the finale of Heat in scope and ambition.'
>'"There was a list. Two hundred and thirty-six line items of weapons, ammunition, and explosives for that scene," says Donehoo.
>we were robbed of one of the greatest movie gunfights ever because a mediocre cast member from In Living Color won an Oscar
>I regret every day that Mikey couldn't convince Adam Sandler to do Collateral

Talking to someone he knows he has to kill after he's done with his assassinations. Trying to get him to think about the future, knowing full well he has to kill him upon completion of his contract.

Random stop, wild coyotes crossing the road, in a city that they shouldn't be in, ever on the prowl for survival sake. Wandering, perhaps lost? Silver haired hunters, just like Vincent. Camera pans out, 'SILVER' is being advertised on a broken sign to show the connection between Vincent, the coyote, and his stoic take on his endless hunt (ie. a cab that is driven forward by a negro held at gun point).

Poetry on the screen. Beautiful!

heat (only slightly) > thief > manhunter = collateral > other shit

This post is Any Forums but ppl will call it reddit.

For me it's the last of the Mohicans featuring Shakespearian method actor Daniel Day Lewis

Has Mann made a truly good film since Collateral? Miami Vice is merely ok.
