Good food/salgados, (coxinhas > pão de queijo for the record)
Very friendly people
Decent view of Americans
Many large families, kids randomly stopping into cousin's houses for dinner
Cheap to travel domestically
Good exchange rate with the dollar
Good internet in the cities, cheap mobile plans (compared to here)
Things I don't like:
Most social activities focused around drinking
Many Brazilians will happily intrude into other's space, including leaning airplane seats into the old lady behind them
Most cities are horribly planned and it's hard to decide if driving/uber/the bus is best because they all suck
