>monster of the week episode Engaging, has interesting concept, distinct writing style and fantastic chemistry between Mulder and Scully. >mythology episode Some boring conspiracy theory about government and aliens, pretentious dialogues and unnecessary Mulder or Scully's family drama.
I liked the stand-alone episodes. Those were great. The ones that followed the plot about the government and Mulder's sister were boring to me. I didn't care about Mulder's sister and usually, when they continued with the story, Mulder and Scully would be in trouble in some way and privileges would be taken away. Those episodes felt so constricted.

completely off topic but women already looked bloated from contraceptive pills 30 years ago.

the series peaked in season 3 in my opinion it's filled with kino episodes both main arc and motw I think it's in season 4-5 where mulder stops believing in ayys and thinks it's only a cover for government experiments when the series dropped the ball for me that and when they reveal cancer man is mulder's real father, that was stupid, and come think of it, many cucked themed episodes around that time probably some writer was into that lol

Anderson got pregnant in the middle of season 1. They had to find a way to not only separate them when she got too big but also her absent.
