For one thing we have absolutely no idea if the movie has every white man being evil. Secondly like I said what would change if the black husband was all of a sudden White? Probably fuck all. But if they were supporting that oh well white men are just evil in the black guy is the innocent victim we probably see more evidence in the film hitting on the theme of like black persecution or something tangentially related to that. To assume the directors we're sitting in the fucking chairs and thinking oh yes we're going to make this movie we're also going to make every white man evil and the black guy good, like why what point would that be? Are they virtue signaling they like black people? In the most fly like subtle way possible? That's fucking autistic.
I don't know why they made the husband black it could have been for any number of reasons. But if that's the only case supporting the idea that it is a film about white men being evil. I don't find it to be very compelling evidence

We have no idea if every other character is a white guy. But even if they are that leaves us to ask why they got a black guy specifically. He could have auditioned and they decided to give it to him because they thought he was good or maybe they wanted some more representation in the movie. Plenty of likely options but to assume it was because they wanted to virtue signal about how great black people are by having a black husband when he's almost inconsequential to the plot of the film is pretty far fucking fetched for me
