Peak 90s/00s comfiness
Tonight im starting to watch SG1 , I heard its best to watch the tie in shows by mixing its seasons in between SG1.I generally find the comfiest experience by binging one by one show. Would this work with this series?

There are no tie-ins until SG-1 season 8 which is already the back end of its run. You're fine to just binge the show. There is a backdoor pilot in the season 8 premiere that kicks off Stargate Atlantis. If you get there and that interests you, you just alternate episodes (SG1 801, SGA 101, SG1 802, SGA 102 etc). There are some 2-parters which will be obvious as you watch them but that's the general idea.
The other spinoff Universe is not concurrent with either Atlantis or SGA and can be considered its own thing.

Frasier is peak comfy. SG1 is more about action adventure, plus it probably induced 99% of millennial's first boners. TNG is for the intellectual types.

One more question, im finishing Farscape and one thing i loved was different worlds they visited that were unique with unique races. Does stargate have worlds like that or is it just same forests i see skimming through first few episodes od season 1
