BRBRBRBRBRBRlLLL

i'm just glad al swearengen got a big fat payday out of it

Depp pocketed 50M alone from this. Filming on water is expensive as well

Never heard of it.

>you now remember the audio in this movie

It's pretty impressive that they managed to make a movie with such a kino cast so fucking boring and forgettable.

Fuck you I liked it. The only real issue was the lack of connection to the original trilogy

I remember watching this in the cinema with a friend. We got drunk as fuck and laughed at this retarded movie throughout while people behind us kept telling us to keep quiet.
Movie was shit but had a good time with my bro.

All those casts yet random spaniards were the best part of the film

I remember when the part where the Spanish blow up the fountain and was like BASED (though that word had not entered my lexicon by then)

thought it was terrible, not sure its because i grow up, or the movie was just terrible enough to break the first movie wave which the franchise was riding on.

only decent part was the mermaid scene, quite enchanting.

absolute unfiltered kino
i thought there was going to be the obvious plottwist that they were the secret bad guys but they remained breadpilled to the end

absolutely awesome, 2nd best in the series, right after pearl
works as a separate standalone pirate adventure, search for fountain of life, spanish, isn't bogged with closterfuck of pointless sub plots. BLACKBEARD

7/10

It's crazy to think that this cost more than at world end even though the whole movie takes place in a dense jungle set or in a cave. 1-3 had huge battle scenes and this has nothing.

Not as good as the first three (perhaps the book they based it on was a bit lightweight) and should have found a way to bring back Norrigton for the film as he was Jack's best adversary. But it was still a decent film on its own merits, could have been 5* instead of 4* if they had done that.

I liked the topless mermaids a lot, even if they didn't have nipples. But then if they did have nipples some smarty pants would have complained that fish don't have mammary glands so nipples on a mer-person are an anathema.

My dad's mate was in this film
Said it was a great time and he was in Hawaii for almost a year

the mermaid subplot is boring but other than that its bretty good

All the budget clearly went to Depp.
The Voodoo Zombies look like shit, they ditched the old pirate supporting cast, they destroyed the plot device from the third movie that was clearly meant to be in every subsequent sequel as a cool visualization of where MacGuffin and Supernatural locations were, and they have Barbossa describe an expensive special effects scene instead of actually showing it.

i still remember that one song and that one character and the skeletons on the boat

It was? It was insanely forgettable. Not even better than any of the first 3.

i like it, better than the third

Does anyone think depp will star in another pirates film after the defamation suit?
