i agree with you. i dont know why everyone likes season 2 so much. IMO it ruined the show. season 1 had so many gorgeous scenes and felt so lovingly crafted. season 2 just felt like a fucking mess with shit writing and all the aesthetic was gone.

I watched the first ep and then skipped through the rest of season desu. it just didn't do what made season 1 at least watchable. barely any Nate and Jules scenes, Fezco the drug dealer with the heart of gold and that kid character are retarded even for this show, Nate's dad's entire character arc, the new characters, Kat is still disgusting. scenes from season 1 like Jules riding her bike at night, the Halloween party, the school dance, Jules and Rue in bed, etc. aren't in season 2. instead they just amped up everyone's character to produce the most drama possible

It had so little of everybody besides Rue, Fez, Cassie, Maddie, and Lexi. Really strange as most of these characters besides Rue weren’t the core of Season 1, where Jules and Nate were, and barely showed up here. Not to mention the fat girls storyline being so obviously cut intentionally. And she was made into a vapid bitch too, sad

For what it’s worth, season one was at least watchable. It had it’s problems, but it had some things I liked about it. The specials with Rue and Jules respectively were the strongest episodes of the series. I just started season 2, and hooo, boy, does it look like I’m in for a shitshow!
