Johnny basically just said "I grabbed her and knocked my head into her by mistake". Meanwhile Amber described what was being said, what his facials expressions were like, and tons of other small details.

You'd be a terrible detective, it's completely the opposite. People add details when they're being deceptive, they subconsciously have a need to make their unbelievable story seem real

People add as much detail as possible when lying because they feel they have to meet a sort of quota to validate what they're saying while someone who's not lying or good at it will feel no pressure to validate what they say beyond stating it.
