imagine a world where the tatsuspammer was forcibly institutionalized and medicated
anyways, finna go read

those are two different flags?

good, more work for him, while still being obvious

>tatsuspammer
wrong board, retard. keep your spam on /jp/. tatsumoto is actaully good.
youtube.com/watch?v=AO_UNZ13_6E

why need a /jp/ Any Forums mod who would ban him. You could ask them in the irc too

So, uh, where's the real DJT held? I'm so confused cause there's one on Any Forums and two on /jp/. There wasn't an active thread yesterday, so I checked out /jp/. Seems like the two threads are split between people who support one guide, and those who support the other.

I think I remember watching a video you made a while ago. Something about Matt vs Japan. Think you also mentioned something about this one guy name Katsumoto. Is there any relation between him and Tatsumoto?

i have. we've also used the feedback from. as you can see he's using at least 3 different ips in this thread right now. he also advertises his site on Any Forums, Any Forums, Any Forums, etc

mods on /jp/ only care about catering to vtubers because their influx generates more ad revenue.

This is a Japanese thread, not a thread for you to advertise his scam sites, Analfaggot.

>Katsumoto. Is there any relation between him and Tatsumoto

no relationship. he purposely made his name similar and called his project "ajatt tools" to confuse people. he's a spammer with a patreon, he does not know japanese and will never post himself speaking it

/djt/ is dead

long live djt!

Khatzumoto made the original ajatt site, Tatsumoto made Tatsumoto's guide to Japanese. They are not related. For someone who doesn't know Japanese the names may look similar but in reality they are written in different kanji and aren't alike.

>So, uh, where's the real DJT held

you're in the right place, my ninja

>Seems like the two threads are split between people who support one guide, and those who support the other.

historically itazuraneko (a fork of djtguide) has been the main site for resources and guidance. however its owner has abandoned it so nothing new gets posted there and many of the links are now dead, hence why links to learnjapanese.moe and animecards.site are included, two new sites made by different Any Forums users

The only thing I don't like about Any Forums /dj/ are the flags. Because of them I can't make multiple posts asking for different types of advice

>So, uh, where's the real DJT held
There was a real thread on Any Forums yesterday, but it died and there was no thread until Analcream decided to use this opportunity to spam, which we can behold here.
>Seems like the two threads are split between people who support one guide, and those who support the other.
Back in the day itazuraneko was the guide. But since it hasn't been updated in years, Tatsumoto created a new guide. learnjapanese.moe and animecards.site are just spammers, and their advice isn't that good.

gracias

just post your questions, no one is judging you

Banning analcream from both Any Forums and /jp/ could really help, but apparently no one cares about these threads.

tatsumoto is just all of the content from learnjapanese.moe but put behind a patreon paywall btw

Why are you lying? All tatsumoto's content is free. learnjapanese.moe is a joke "guide" that steals 99% of his ideas from Tatsumoto and then focuses on the 1% he disagrees with him about.

Animecards and themoeway's advice:
>just use the fucking language!
>use whatever learning method, just keep using the language doing things you like!
T*tsumoto's guide:
>use my anki deck
>don't watch dolly's videos because she's creepy
>don't play visual novels because they're proprietary
>subscribe to my patreon for more!

Anyone want to start a study group on discord? I've found some larger ones, but prefer something smaller and more personal

Animetards and themoeway's advice:
>use my anki deck
>watch dolly's videos because I say so
>subscribe to my patreon for more!
>join my Cringecord
Tatsumoto's advice:
>just use the fucking language!
>use whatever learning method, just keep using the language doing things you like!
>i give you a few good anki decks for free, but they are optional

djt has moved away from cringecord.

why not just do it here? that's the point of the thread

I just got here

As an ESL, how do I "acquire" japanese like how I did with english? I learned english just by watching youtube videos on topics that interest me but with japanese I only use anki to a fault. When I play games or watch subbed anime I can catch common japanese words but I still can't understand raw anime.

DJT has a matrix chat btw

Then Any Forums thread, quite frankly, is not a format conducive to the goals of a study group

how much time are you spending per day on anki?
also youtube works great for learning japanese, you've just got to get more experience listening to it
you might find this channel useful

You're gonna have to redpill me further

daily japanese THREAD is a thread. it does not have a "matrix chat", tatsumoto

it's just tatsumoto spamming, don't worry about it. this a screenshot from talking to him on his matrix chat

Attached: 1635778086168.png (1508x3968, 3.21M)

Basically, everybody probably already knows that Discord is spyware, right? There are articles like spyware.neocities.org/articles/discord.html
So around september, 2020 we asked people in the /jp/ thread whether they wanted to migrate to Matrix. Some people showed interest, so we made this community tatsumoto.neocities.org/blog/join-our-community.html
Now there are about 3000 people in there.
Tatsumoto says he doesn't post on Any Forums anymore. He posted last year, but now you can only talk to him on Matrix. Pretty funny that you think I'm him.

そうですね

KYS Analclown.

Why are you learning Japanese?

Attached: 1642880382623.png (282x300, 77.4K)

>how much time are you spending per day on anki?
More or less 2 hours.
>youtube works great for learning japanese, you've just got to get more experience listening to it
True. Do you know any good japanese video game review channels that make long-form videos? I really like those and I don't know any that are in japanese.
>you might find this channel useful
Thanks user!

So I can access japanese content that is not in english. Talking with japs would be cool too

nah, I don't know of any long review channels like that, wish I did though

I only know Cutscenes and Archipel but they are more like interview channels which is great too

ign japan? lol

2 hours a day in anki sounds painful... don't burn out. it's important to have fun! youtube.com/watch?v=HKm0JCuwwas&list=PLFED4984055236DDE&index=2

>IGN japan
Is it actually good unlike the western version?
>2 hours a day in anki sounds painful... don't burn out. it's important to have fun!
I know I just feel like I need to completely comprehend japanese before I can watch anime and read manga. I wish I knew how I dealt with that when I was learning english.

>I know I just feel like I need to completely comprehend japanese before I can watch anime and read manga

i know what you mean but it's impossible. you gotta read a ton to get used to reading, same with anime. ya know the famous quote "You play like you practice and practice how you play."

you could try playing games with easier text or watching easier shows (desu reading is just always easier cuz you can take your time with each word and sentence to understand it)

some more related tips: rentry.org/gitgud (guy that wrote this went from zero to a perfect 180/180 n1 score in just 8.5 months)

just make sure you don't fall for analcream's rentry/* spam links. He doesn't know Japanese. If you spend too much time doing Anki, try targeted sentence cards. TSC is an optimized card template focused on speed and ease of repetitions.

I'll try doing that. Is playing famicom games a good idea? They only use hiragana and add spaces between words

you should only do something because you are personally interested in it. not because it is a "good idea" or "efficient" or whatever

that being said i love many (super) famicom games and they are a great way to spend time with the language streamable.com/xffers

I just heard that reading kanji in hiragana is bad for you from the itazuraneko guide if I recall correctly

あずまんが大王!

i don't recall but it was probably talking about anki, like anki is a good way to learn the readings of words written in kanji.

but think about this: people that only read kanji text struggle with reading pure kana text. people that only read pure kana text struggle with reading kanji text. both struggle with speaking/listening. people that only speak/listen struggle with kanji text as well.

so again, it's a case of "You play like you practice and practice how you play."
if you want to be able to play famicom games then you gotta play a bunch of famicom games

What are you going to do during summer vacation ?
Many Japanese people go to the beach or enjoy fireworks festival.
