no because i am not a normal fag
That gigantic watch makes your tiny hand look even more feminine.
I could beat your ass easily.
But I could probably kill you with my bare hands.
You couldn't find a bigger watch?
don't shave your arm you fag.
looks like a toy, tacky af
No offense but you have shit taste in watches
Cool watch, though I'm a bigger can of mechanical watches
you could've picked anything and you chose that? jesus user
Google told me that your watch is like 26600 USD.
It's more than enough to live in Japan for a year.
Are you upset he chose a watch over living in Japan?
You have gay hands OP. I hope your kid doesn't inherit your faggot genetics.
Nice bootleg
congratulations!!
No. But, if I become a father, I would save the money for kid.
Expensive watches are a meme. Now expensive pens I can get into
But congratulations, user. I hope your family will be always happy.
I prefer more classical looking watches
Yeah sure you could big boy
>Expensive watches are a meme
No they're not, be quiet
Yeah
Stopped wearing my dad's air king cause I don't want joggers to steal it
> Bought a watch to celebrate my fatherhood.
Now this is something that I would wear
Usually it's the wanna be tough guys, who wear diesel, and drive a pick up truck that use these.
maybe small penis syndrome. who knows?
Good taste
How much was it?
about $100k.
I always wanted to be an astronaut (now I'm here)
so, I'd like a speedmaster. Astronauts used to wear these to the moon.
It's a kinda of a larp, but based desu.
Probably the best looking movement you can get for the price
Patek's Grand complication watches are the other type I woudl like.
But these cost a fortune.
>gay rainbow
Hehe
Patek's "space/celestial" theme watches are cool desu.
Yeah you need Russian oligarch money to get one of those
>spending nearly $30K on something that looks like absolute fucking garbage
Pretty based desu ngl
Dont reply to them directly
why not?
R8 my watch bros
For me it's the ol' reliable
Same. My band broke after a couple years so I replaced it with some cheap nato strap from Daiso.
Why do people treat watches like jewellery? I am sure many people who wear analogue watches don't even read them. I just use a $20 watch and it works fine - been working for years. The only use of it is when I don't want to use my phone or I can't physically use it to check the time. OP's watch looks disgusting and it's apparently expensive.
It's love for the craftsmanship and the design. It's like asking why people buy nice cars when they could just buy a dull diesel box with 4 wheels that gets them where they're going, that's fine for some people but not for others.
craftsmanship, love of mechanical things
Okay, well what craftsmanship went into the one in OP's picture? Perhaps I just have different taste but the mechanical watches you guys posted look much nicer. I can understand watches that took significant human effort to make - it's a piece of art. But what about ones that still require batteries to run and cost hundreds if not thousands? I guess if you have the money it's not a big deal to people. I just see it as a waste.
OPs one is just for status and people wanting to show off. Even that has craftsmanship in it though. But look at a Lange or Patek movement and say that no craftsmanship went into it.
>well what craftsmanship went into the one in OP's picture?
Well taste is subjective but I agree that it's tacky as shit. It looks like an aftermarket stereo that gets stolen out of a shitty old ricebox.
> But what about ones that still require batteries to run and cost hundreds if not thousands?
Like I said, craftsmanship. A lot of watches, even ones that are batteries (quartz) have a lot of care put into them. Many of the higher end watches above the $1000 mark are handmade in every way, I even went looking at a Seiko that was completely handbuilt and polished by just one person.
>I guess if you have the money it's not a big deal to people. I just see it as a waste.
Something I appreciate about nice looking cars and watches is that they are art but also have function. I'd likely never spend $1000 on a painting but I'd easily spend that much on a watch since it has function for my every day life. I actually took up diving as a hobby when I discovered dive watches and ended up buying an Omega Seamaster like pic related.
So it's all down to what you want to spend money on. Some people spend $2k on a phone and I consider that a waste, but they don't.
nigga you got scammed hard. Do you not know what happening in the watch market?
Not him. What's happening?
Probably referring to the fake shortage that has artificially forced up prices of watches. So because of these "shortages", stores are making people either go on waiting lists or pay extra to get them immediately.
the watch market is crashing. Prices on these AP's have gone down like 25-30 percent over the past 2-3 months. You're better off getting something full of aftermarket ice. You pay like half of what you would or less.
market has had a slight crash recently.
Enjoy Americna divorce court in a few years
same
Imagine not using this
Lol what a simp
I like cheap and functional pens and watches.
t. uses a Lemy fountain pen and a square g-shock.
>cheap
depends on the lamy, some of them go for £7,000
lame
Irresponsible dads
This is why Asians are the most successful ethnic groups in multiculti countries like USA
yeah not like japan is one of the leading luxury watch markets in the world or something
It's like a $20 plastic one.
I wanted to get a good Swiss watch but then I remember how the richest billionaire here only wear a Citizen eco drive (US$770)
Senior Citizen
oi chhake
i keep thinking this is goatse
I've never seen the point of expensive watches
A wrist watch do not serve a function except as a status symbol and fashion item get real nigger, it makes the wearer feel important, nothing else
yeah
whats that, a gay pride watch?
It's close to women's jewelries.
It's also similar to luxurious cars for men.
