How many followers did he have on that farm?

>turns brothers on each other
>whores herself with her husband's killer
>makes her new husband get cucked out of his kingdom kek
>tries to fuck her firstborn son for power
>her entire bloodline is eradicated and cucked out of existence
>chaos prevails

Also, KWAB. Lost his kingdom.

at least 3

I think roughly 30. He had at least like 15 slaves. He was a good guy, but he shouldn’t have fell sucker to that crusty old pussy

Who cares.
The plot twist is the king is a dickhead and everyone hated him, so when he was overthrown it was good. The bad thing was trying to kill the son also, but Amleth's mom put the guy up to it, so really the only person in the entire movie should have been murdered is Amleth's mother for being a hypercunt.

This man probably was a better ruler than his brother which makes what Amleth did unjustified.

>This man probably was a better ruler than his brother

>loses his kingdom like a bitch

He was a far better ruler from everything they showed. He actually worked on his own land, and was a thoughtful, peaceful person for the most part. His brother went on month long pillages, and then when he got back, he’d get high and pretend he was a wolf. I feel bad for him, because I think Almeth’s mom was probably evil and highly seductive, and him being such a normal chill guy was easily manipulated by her. Killing his brother, and his brother’s evil son was doing everyone a great service despite the fact he was put up to it by a fairly evil woman

moty simple as

How was he able to afford slaves?

And why is he still called king?

He probably took most of the wealth from the castle in the kingdom before surrendering and fleeing. Where the wealth came from? Probably pillages

Movie woulda been better if he still had the kingdom. Kinda gay to have the revenge section set in a field with some shacks ngl

Must have been budget constraints.

He was too soft and cowardly. In the 900’s, you couldn’t have a weak king. Almeth’s father was based, and he was appropriately raising his son to be based like him and rule the same way. These are facts

>Bunch of snowniggers fighting over mudhuts like they’re some kingdom

Is this literally Africa or something?

But the movie says he was exiled. Why would another king allow his predecessor to leave with treasures?

He was probably made postexilic after he was gone, so he was just forbidden from ever returning after the new king took control. It wasn’t like he surrendered the castle peacefully, and then the new king was like “alright, now you’re exiled but I won’t kill you.” They’d have killed him posthaste

Except he wasn't. You ignore the part where half the village gets murdered and raped when he takes power. Then he is referred to as a glorified sheep farmer after losing his kingdom. The only difference he has is he was willing for do "slave work" while also being a notorious slaver and raping his slaves. That and after stealing his brother sloppy seconds he worships a fertility goddess which uses female sacrifices instead of honouring death in battle.

Dude was a fucking loser.

good guys don't behead children

>her entire bloodline is eradicated and cucked out of existence
Bro, she has twin grandchildren through Amleth+Olga.

An exiled king is still king but he's really more their chieftain which is the same thing as far as they're concerned.

>he worships a fertility goddess
He has to, they're farmers at that point.

>he worships a fertility goddess

he worships freyr. amleth, who favors othinn, even mocks fjolnir's god as the "erection god" because of the statue like picrel

the fucking pic didn't attach goddamn it
