That's the problem, Superman is a sophomoric idiot in a bloated overly destructive action movie, but the entire point about Superman is that he solves most of his problems in a way that doesn't require physical force unless it's absolutely necessary, like Zod being tricked into going into the Phantom Zone or taking Zod's powers away in Superman II

The fact that the writers gave krypton so much time to explode in the beginning was also pog because that would've meant other kryptonians could've escaped as opposed to a rather sudden explosion like in the comics which is why only one kryptonian was able to leave

Humans did not destroy krypton so I didn't understand why Zod wanted to terraform earth and kill everyone there
Also, if Zod wanted to kill those people with his heat vision, why didn't he just shift his eyes in their direction? Like, mudderfucka could've just looked with his eyes lol he didn't have to turn his whole head lol
