It took 12 minutes to make.

And here I thought Old Spanish had a lot of sibilants.

>Hmm, hwy? Man cwiþ eac "wædlig" and "earm".

Does "cwiþ" mean "say"? I'm going to have to look into OE more. I've been learning W. Frisian for a while, I used to frequent this thread a lot but stopped coming to Any Forums. I fluctuate between the top 500-600 on the Wrâld League on learningfrisian.com

Exclusive challenges.

Yeah, it does. The root is where quoth comes from ("quoth the raven..."). Frisian is cute and very readable, so have fun :3

This word exists in Frysk but it's not used much anymore. I believe it's spelled "kwed" or "kwyd". I'm not sure how I'd be able to understand spoken OE, but reading it is a breeze after 2 years of continual Frisian study. It's actually more intelligible for me than Dutch.

Frisian and English dialects were most closely related back then, hence the Anglo-Frisian grouping. There's mention of Frisians in Old English texts, and I'm sure they could understand each other with not much difficulty.
