Is your country called Fatherland or Motherland?

Father'sland
it's the fatherland
We don't really have a gendered thing like that which I can think of.
it's not gendered in most cases either
it's the land of our fathers, ojczyzna, fatherland
"Motherland", but we don't say anything such as "motherland", it just gendered as feminine.
>it just gendered as feminine.
Brazil is masculine (O Brasil)
What are you talking about?
A pátria, e em alemão é "Das Deutschland" que é o neutro. Ele está falando da palávra "pátria", não do nome do país. Poccия também é no feminino, mas ele deve estar falando de poдинa.
country is father
earth is mother
Land is a female word so all lands are motherlands or trannies
Fatherland
We have either Fatherland (Otechestvo - oтeчecтвo, otchina - oтчинa) and Motherland (Poдинa - Rodina.
Both
There is Otchizna which means Fatherland and Rodina which means Motherland
Why is rodina motherland? Isnt rod- "birth"?
both
Guess which one gives birth
In Transnistria Fatherland can give birth
Birth can also related to where one was born not that the land birthed one
Also parents is roditel in Russian so also father is a "birther"
The Swedish word is "fosterland" (no translation needed I think). In the good old days people would say "fäderneslandet" too ("the land of the fathers") but nowadays it's only "fosterland".
Now it's simply forsenland
Motherland (domovina) but it can also be the fatherland (očetnjava).
Are there rules as to which is used?
