is it true that most of you have never tasted real bread ever?
Dear Americans
No, it's not true.
Dear Swiss,
Is it true that you're still harboring a bunch of lousy tax cheats and sitting upon mountains of Jewish holocaust gold?
>real bread
That just means it's going to go bad in 2 days
Even walmart has its own bakery section dude. They usually sell loafs , baguettes, kaiser rolls , bagels ..
If your bread keeps fresh longer than two days then it is probably pumped full of chemicals and not real bread.
Sounds like wallmart made industrial bread trying to imitate real bread.
Sounds like the Swiss are trying to cope with their stupid cost of... everything and pretend it's somehow all better.
I feel like this thread pops up once every couple weeks. Picrel is like 10 minutes from my house
those are sweets not breads
woah america is so big! It has bakeries
Bagels are not sweet.
Nah it's semi industrial. The dough is premade in factories but baked in the local Walmart. European supermarkets do the same thing.
>Bread
The term and technique are referred to as "parbaking" in case you were curious.
you're right, didn't see the whole thing
sesame bagels are good
tfw moved to Japan from Italy years ago
>literally almost no decent bakeries
>the few passable ones make you pay 500 or 600 yen(about 5$) per ciabatta
it's depressing mates, I just want some decent bread every now and then.
If you dont have this in your table during dinner you're a meme country with no culture
There's an Italian bakery near my work place. I go there sometimes to pickup some bread
>No, it's not true.
doesn't matter
it will still be and every day thread
tell them this every day if you want to
American bread is more like cake
They put so much sugar in it it tastes like cake
Did you know we even have tigers?
That's just sandwich bread. We have normal bread that gets hard after 2 3 days
My sourdough can last ~5 days.
Sounds like an opportunity to start your own bakery.
>They put so much sugar in it it tastes like cake
That's what I meant with real bread. Do they even know how freshly baked from the wood oven tastes like?
Worst part about being on a strict diet is the lack of fresh bread and viennoiserie
I want my fresh croissants
>diet
Are you a woman? Just lift more bro.
you sound like an absolute douche,a really really really unpleasant person
I am Asian American. My only exposure to European style "real bread" is from Vietnamese food because they make baguettes. Chinese bakeries just make sweet bread and cakes. I don't give a fuck about bread though. East Asian food is better than European food
