Most Swedes don't live near the border between Sweden and Norway (most Norwegians do, so they probably know) so most of us Swedes really don't know the answer to your question.

Yes know plenty swedes who does so. Also norwegians go over border to buy supplies and stuff because its so much cheaper. That's why there is stores close to norwegian border that sell a lot of things in big quantities.

Few people live close enough to the border to make the commute worth it. Lots of people out of high school often work in Norway for a year or two before going to university since low skill work is paid better there however.

There are no jobs in the norwegian border towns. If there are any swedes who does what you say then they have an 5 hour total commute every day. You can compare it with Germany and Poland. How many poles commute to Germany every day? Probably not many

Yes, I mean, pretty much the most expensive places here are the cities, but even downtown Oslo is comparably cheaper then say downtown Stockholm.
