The weather is absolute shit

>is that..... HECKIN SNOW??? IM GOING INSANE

Not much different from where I currently live. American anons, how expensive is the Midwest

its huge region, theres expensive cities like chicago and rural areas where houses costs nothing and everything between.

You can buy a mcmansion with full time mexican housekeepers for 200,000

I like it but unfortunately there are plenty of MAGAidiots. I live in Michigan and we are just about evenly split. People are mostly friendly regardless which in some ways makes it worse.

Even Chicago is not that expensive compared to coastal cities

The midwest is a huge region with very different cities and people. My dream is to live in Omaha. It's just so damn wholesome, clean, and NICE. Either there or northern Wisconsin.

Flyover culture would be a pretty huge downside

It gets pretty hot in the summer. The midwest has the biggest variation between summers and winters.

Are the girls there better than southern girls?

This is true, half the year is Florida tier heat, the other half is arctic temperatures. The last snowstorm we had this year was on April 18th after Easter. Also vermin like mosquitoes and ticks but those can be mostly avoided if you don't live in the country

The Rust Belt will rise again!

NO HEALTHCARE, and NO WALKABLE CITIES

>mosquitoes and ticks
WOAAAHHHHH I'M GOING INSANE SAVE ME NIGGERMAN

Michigan medicaid was the best healthcare I was ever on. Too bad I make too much money rn

cringe

Lime disease is no joke

There's a tick that can make you allergic to meat if bitten

It's Stepford wives-stan. NPC kingdom. People there lack personality.

the 'people'

just take your vac

It's kind of boring. You have to travel to get to a nice beach. I would say those are the only major downsides.

Ignore people whining about meth towns or whatever else, there are TONS of low cost, peaceful smaller cities and suburbs with cheap housing and jobs available. If you want a conventional, peaceful, affordable life and to raise a family or whatever you really can't beat it. And the culture isn't as insane as on the coasts.

With that said I'm moving to Tennessee because I want MOUNTAINS.

There is no vaccine for lyme disease.

Totally backwards, culture is bred in the heartland of a country, the coasts are utter NPCland.

>culture is bred in the heartland of a country
Imagine calling the midwest the heartland. The east coast is by any definiton the heartland, particularly New England area

>tf
>tp

this
if you want to call it a downside
