George Friedman’s “The Next 100 Years”

>Russia collapses
>United States still kicking
>Turkey becomes world power
>Germany and Western Europe do f*ck all
>Become completely irrelevant
>Poland becomes world power
>WWIII between Poland and Turkey
>United States straight chillin, fights over spic immigrants
>Entire southwest will eventually become Mexican, create mad-Max style conflict
>The conflict will continue into the 22nd century
>In the middle of all this Japan rules the waves again
… tell me this is just bullshit, bros.
Just bullshit cooked up by a Jew.

He's the brainlet that wrote "The Coming War With Japan" in 1991.

There was a kraut chudcel autist quoting him like he Is a prophet in an earlier thread. Had some good laughs. The kraut was right about the Ukraine conflict though

Also Germany allying up with Russia. He basically gets all this geopolitical predictions from Tom Clancy novels.

He's still obsessed with Japan, probably to cope with being wrong

Friedman isn't terrible on everything, but yeah he is a bit of out of touch boomer. I think his opinions are sometimes worth reading, but only an idiot would take him as gospel

I can see Germany becoming irrelevant and Poland becoming stronger but Japan rising again seems unlikely. Unless they develop gundams or something wild like that with robots that take care of many services.

Is he the Jewish Gordon Chang who can't let go about being wrong in the 90's so he keeps doubling down?

Japan is an island nation, so them having a relatively strong navy does not seem that far fetched (when you start from zero, like Japan, I guess that is "rising"). But as for Friedman's predictions concerning Germany/Poland/Turkey, there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to them

>"But what is also true is Erdogan’s embracing of many of the
secularists’ traits: a rejection of multiculturalism, a willingness to bash
heads when elections don’t go the way they are “supposed to,” the idea
that Turkey is a strong and independent power.
The new Turkey combines the cultural grandeur, muscle tone, and
arrogance of the Ottoman Empire with the religious leanings, disdain
for secularism, and distrust of the Western world of the Islamists, and
with the authoritarian, chauvinistic, and ethnic parameters of the
secularists. "

It's real

israel

poland may be true but don't know about us

He is very biased towards America. I find what he says interesting, but I read it as what someone with star spangled sunglasses would predict the future to be like. His logic regarding Poland makes sense. Turkey is trying hard to become a great power but is already starting to clash with Europe. I think they have too many enemies to succeed.

Unless they invent portable fusion engines (for mechas) they're done. DONE. Japan has no raw resources or energy.

You can't predict history but yeah he's right about Poland

It looks like he's being more realistic about Japan now. geopoliticalfutures.com/japan-enters-a-new-phase-in-its-history/

They have gas hydrates if they ever become a mainstream fuel source

what could possibly make us fight turks again?

Its a war for bbc who has the most wins

They're old and passive. Unless they invent real fucking mechs or battle cyborgs they're not going anywhere out of their island chain, there's just not enough manpower for expansion

>reading two more weeks authors
In to the trash it goes.

>They're old and passive
Isn't this true of all their competitors too?

A blind man could see Ukraine coming

Competitors in the region? Yeah, but China can always just zerg rush
