This obsession with age disparities in objectively non-pedophillic relationships, even between grown adults, seems to be a very recent phenomenon. It's always been seen as a taboo or creepy thing but it seems only in the past few years that social media bottom feeders are becoming exaggeratedly indignant about it.

If a teen fucks a teen, nobody cares. But if an adult fucks a teen, everyone looses their fucking minds. Makes you think.

You're supposed to be an adult at 16. Not even 100 years ago you were expected to be able to work full-time jobs at that age, if you didn't have school. At sixteen girls have long since had their menstruation and are adults in the eyes of nature and boys are at their physical peak. The only reason anyone would argue that a 16 year old isn't mentally mature is because you haven't LET THEM mature by treating them like adults.

If your society treats them like children then of course they are going to act like it. Americans have such a weird and unhealthy obsession with eternal adolescence that they seem to refuse to become adults well into their 30's and even later. How can anyone take that shit seriously?
