Op here. I dont live in a city with many japanese people, usually the only japanese-brazilians i meet are, for example, the doctor Matsunaga that helped my father, so obviously i wont develop a friendship with him, because hes like 30 years older etc, hes a professional etc.
The only young japanese-brazilian person i could develop a friendship with was a girl, i studied with her for 3 times and she never gave a fuck for me. Recently i met her in the uni, we had a 2 minute "nice to see you" conversation and that was It.

Most of them are upper middle class. Nobody of them live in african conditions like some blacks or browns live.
Culturally, they ironically arent obsessed with Japan, its rare to find a buddhist under the age of 40, same could be said as baseball fans (although many japanese-brazilians casually like to play baseball, our national team is like 90% jp-br), and many of them dont even care for anime.
So they can be described as Brazilians smarter than average.
Japanese-br girls, specially, dont give a fuck about japanese culture, unless they want to victimize themselves on twitter with the anti-asian racism narrativa (which makes 0 sense but they just parrot everything of the USA)
