DJT - Daily Japanese Thread #2932

DJT is a language learning thread for those studying the Japanese language.
Japanese speakers learning English are welcome, too.

Read the guide linked below before asking how to learn Japanese:

You should make a table of contents for your FAQ listing all the questions. It is too long and there is no overview for a reader.

One way would be to just put each question on its own page.

わかんないなら日本語勉強したほうがいいよw

I guess, but the main problem is the lack of any quick way to see what is going to be covered. I've written long research papers and dissertations before, and as the material becomes longer and longer it is more important to put in redundant things like table of contents, introductions, and outlines and so on, because no one is gonna read the whole damn thing.

There's this button that shows the contents. Is that what you're looking for?

Yes. I'm just giving a suggestion to make it more obvious. I'm not going to read the guide myself, I already can use Japanese.

Yes, I guess the table of contents button needs some re-haul.

>Go to college for advisement
>Tell him I want to go to Japan as a teacher
>tells me my degree requires 2 years of language and Japanese is an option
>5 credits a semester
Not looking forward to "learning" kana and gana again but hopefully this will help my sub n5 ass. When I get to to 201 and 202.

Talk to the professor and maybe you can skip the very first classes. Skipping required classes is a common thing.

選ぶがよい
どんな死に方が望みだ

I'd rather not 5 credits Is a fuck ton for a class that I can do easily.

闘う気か

Yeah if the professor seems hesitant you could offer to take the midterm or final to prove yourself, but probably it won't come to that. You might have trouble with speaking though, I think that is emphasized more in college language classes (I never took any)
