Failed to elevate the GDP of member countries but very few

>failed to elevate the GDP of member countries but very few
>mass unemployment
>mass poverty
>this winter thousands will freeze and starve to death
>geopolitically, militarily, financially and culturally, completely irrelevant

>exposed as totally irrelevant, weak and incompetent by Brexit

so
What are the benefits of the so called "european union"?

please leave, you have been a pest since you joined.

Germany is richer than ever before

>>failed to elevate the GDP of member countries but very few
Is that so? In any case, the biggest benefit to the EU is the single market and free trade. And I dont think brexit showed the EU to be irrelevant. The main thing it showed is that, contrary to populist slogans, being in the EU actually reduces bureacracy. Brexit is definitely not the end of the world but all it's done is cause lots of mostly minor headaches with no discernible benefit.

europhiles are cringe

You forgot to add
>saved Greece from bankruptcy

>flag
Don't you have some drugs to push and money to launder?

Yes it is so.

Default would have been way more preferable

Yes
But history is so ironic sometimes. How much will they be forced to pay so that Muhammad and Osman won't freeze their ass off and start jihading them?

No it wouldn't.
Also stop blaming the 2008 crisis on the European Union, the crash started across the ocean.

Yes it would.
>the crash started across the ocean
Technically yes. What inflated the bubble was euro money buying subprime mortgages and other garbage collection derivatives
So yes the "eu" caused the 2008 global financial crisis

Defaulting would have devastating consequences for any nation that does trading (basically every single one except NK)
>What inflated the bubble was euro money buying subprime mortgages and other garbage collection derivatives
Yeah bro I'm sure it would have been totally different if that was drachma instead.

You'd have ended up like venezuela way long ago if it weren't for the EU

>devastating consequences
Such as?
>Drachma
What has our old currency to do with euro bankers, pension funds and others?

Europe had a bigger bubble

>venezuela
buzzword

...

EU is based
because everyone who isn't a lazy and dumb subhuman can leave their EU membershithole(full of subhumans) for a better EU membershithole(full of brown people)

If a guy that's well know for stealing wallets offers to hold your wallet while you're doing something else would you give it to him? God you're fucking retarded.
Greek bankers made dumb decisions with euros, they would have made the same dumb decisions with drachma.

I'm not talking about Greek banks investing in subprime mortgages. Their invested capital in that market was miniscule compared to the investment of major European banks.

Because of errors from individual countries, not the EU
