It's the most important language, because the only reason one has to live is to reunite with ones French Joan of Arcesque angel.

Only if you want to talk to shithole thirdworlders like Algerians and Congolese and French.

Lol no. Really, at this point, only English is relevant. Sad, but true.

I've used it exactly three times since leaving Quebec over a decade ago
WW1

Probably not but what's this obsession with relevance anyway? Just learn a language if you want to, otherwise don't. You don't need to do a cost-risk analysis every time you want to take up a new skill or learn something new.

yes :(

If you want to make fun of french people, their president and his husband, sure.

Tell me what relevant means in this context before I can answer, please.

I've never used it once and it's co-official here.

no, (((they))) killed its last bits of relevance...
I hate them so fucking much

I couldn't think of a bigger loser country.

Only if you live in Quebec

I kneel before the Anglo-Jewish alliance

On an unironic note, a lot of mathematicians learn french because a lot of resources/papers/textbooks are only in french. In general french universities are still some of the best in the world for math
Same to a lesser extent with German

Unironically it's a dead language, 40% of its speakers are in Africa and France is basically the Middle East now

no?

>there are 300 million French speakers worldwide today, up almost 10% since 2014, and a recent survey showed that 44% of them live in sub-Saharan Africa

we barely have immigrants from the middle east, and 90 millions native speakers isn't a dead language
