A/Cs are 2000 Watts, which means that they cost around 90 Euro-Cents at the moment per hour.

i guess it depends on where you're at, but 10'ish euro-bucks a day to not be melting sounds ok to me.

Sleeping in the heat sucks though. I'll turn off A/C during the day but fuck sleeping in 23+ degrees. Optimal room temperature for sleep should be 20 degrees so you can snuggle in blankets.

I'm not buying A/C for one or two weeks out of the entire year

That's like €3000 per month you idiot

based retard

Is that a meme?
I thought Germans were smart.

It's time to accept it's too fucking HOT.

Then y'all need to stfu about how hot it is

LOL

user...

My parents actually wanted to buy one for 300€ (reduced from 500€) but energy is too expensive for it so they didn’t.

Just use a fan

i wish my grandma was still alive. she had a nice airco system at her house. eating some fresh grandma food while sitting in a cooled room was heaven.

Drop the proxy

A decent fan works well enough and doesn't eat up elictricity like an ac does.

i just use a fan or take a cold shower when im too hot. or dunk my balls in the bidet feels good man

ACs made any time after the 1990s don't draw their full-load continuously. They cool and dehumidify your room and then shut off.

I spent like a quarter on electricity in the summer vs what I spend in the winter and I'm an HVAC addict.

are Europeans really this poor? how can you not afford a stupid AC?

I keep my a/c running almost 24/7. It's on at all times whenever I'm home. This was my bill last month kek.

That's 100 USD.

They really don't work that hard. I just use it a few times a year when it's unbearable ~30 degrees indoors

Yeah. And I have a 5 room, 90sqm apartment. I don't keep the air on in every room of course, most just the bedroom where I work and game.

Europeans believe that AC is somehow completely fucking inefficient while spending thousands of euros each winter for the 'privilege' of living on the snownigger glacier continent.

You show them stats that thirdies and burgers living in warm places contribute less to climate change due to not having to run their heat full-tilt in the winter and they'll just ignore you.

>I suffer in Thailand

I see it that way too, my HVAC has to work hard for heating for several months and then for some stupid reason I shouldn't allow it to cool the house a few degrees one week during the summer

>Enjoy the heat wave.

((they)) can't afford more energy spending

We don't even have heaters here despite the temperature getting quite low in the winter time (around 20-25 degrees Celsius).

Here's the a/c, just above the mini fridge. I have 3 in total for this apartment, one in the bedroom, another in the living room and another in the study/work room.

its been 15°C past five days suck my dick

>20 to 25 C
my brother in christ you are living in paradise

Heat pumps are goated. We didn't have them for a long time in the US because they used to deal poorly with some of the temperature and humidity extremes we get in the internal US, but they've gotten good enough now that I've been able to replace my old central heating and cooling with cheapo minisplit heat pumps.

Well I'm trying to explain why I have these sliding doors separating every room. This seems to confuse people but it's to keep the a/c air circulating in a specific room rather than all over the apartment. Also good for keeping the dog out of rooms where we can't keep an eye on her. She chewed on the TV remote last week.

Twice.
