I went on an olympiad in a Russian university and on campus we met exchange students from Serbia and Bosnia. They showed us the city and generally were a good company
Lived in China and also travelled to Japan and Thailand and generally had an overwhelming amount of sex with cute Asian girls over the course of a year. Also ate lots of great food and did lots of sightseeing.
the only Any Forumsernational interaction I've ever had was Australian tourists asking me for directions and me purposefully sending them the wrong way

>Be camping in the bush
>Campsite next to a group of insufferable European backpacker types
>Smell like shit, accent sounds even worse
>Loud as fuck and party all night, can't hear the nature and its hard to sleep
>Wake up the next day
>Some animals broke into their food and ate all of it
>They have nothing left and beg me for food or a lift to the nearest town
>tell them to fuck off, pack up and drive away, leaving them in a cloud of dust
World Tour in 2008
I learned about the stock market crash when I was in Spain. I told my pilot to return back to Saudi and after 2 days of checking the situation I resumed the year long world tour.
Would like to do it again since the world has changed so much now.
Olympiad for what?
>study abroad in louisiana
>very friendly people everywhere
>invited to house parties, thanksgiving, spring break celebrations etc.
>cheap cost of living
>chill evenings smoking and drinking by the mississippi river
>mardi gras was fun
there are problems (homeless people/shootings), but i think it's an underrated place full of SOVL

I guess average class over here
Not too detailed, but
I did several language exchanges most of which were nice but died off.
I went to Japan on vacation and it was a very pleasant experience all in all. Same with Lisbon and Ireland.
