If he had to choose would he rather take ebonics or Arabic?
What’s the deal with Lebanese Christians and their desire to not be seen as Arab?
Kek
They speak Levantine with a Lebanese dialect
>SUMMARY: Lebanese (more broadly North Levantine) is influenced by Arabic (as well as other languages, such as Aramaic and Canaanite/Phoenician, plus its own local evolution), but it is not a version of Arabic (nor is it a version of Aramaic or Phoenician).

Lebanese conserves all the guttural sounds except the voiceless uvular plosive ق. The stereotype that it's effeminate comes from educated Lebanese being pretentious and speaking in a "French" accent and mixing in unnecessary French words which have accurate Arabic counterparts.
