I wanted to do basic military training here but i was denied at application because of aspergers

You can dodge conscription here if you are fat. The guys who still wanted to serve but were in a bad shape went into logistics or desk jobs. They usually got into even worse shape for eating so much donuts in the canteen.

You can choose between military service, civil service or prison. If you have a disability or can convince a doctor that you can't serve for whatever reason then you can dodge all three. This is actually pretty easy to do (just claim depression, anxiety or whatever) but many employers see this as a big red flag.

Literally me. Im 24 and obese but have considered wanting to join my state's national guard just for the experience of it and to say I did it but I'd want to do it before getting too old. I don't want to be a zogbot but my state national guard has some history and I hear you can do it part time and that nothing ever actually happens.

I think the USA should have mandatory conscription, or civil service. For men and women. I think this would solve *a lot* of the social problems we have.
