India seems to be taking a very globalized route in their growth, very different from China's isolationist route
They are major exporters of cultural capital, as well as skilled workers who maintain significant ties with their homelands. They seem to place just as much importance on media and political dominance in the west, as on STEM fields like medicine and research.
I find it interesting that Indians were all stereotyped as gas station owners and taxi drivers only one generation ago, but now they're all doctors and engineers and CEOs.
