Moving from crt to lcd, why would anyone move to inferior product

This. CRTs are amazing as long as it's not some composhit trash.

thirdie consumer tech is pretty much on par with the 2010s in firstieworld

I hate CRT fags so much
grow the fuck up, its not the 90s anymore

I'm posting this from my crt screen which I hooked my half broken laptop to

we don't even have electricity yet

Firsties do not know the pain of playing Dr. Mario on black and white TV

My main CRT doesn't take NTSC, so whenever I plug in my Famicom it's in black and white since that console is composite straight from the chip unlike my other consoles that output RGB.

Surely not. I remember we moved on to our first LCD flatscreen in like 2005. Do any thirdies genuinely still use crt?

Soul

Crt is unironically superior, no tearing, no input lag, no ghosting, for viewing movies or playing games it’s way superior
>but muh 850fps
Grow up

I love my CRT for gaming and shows/movies. I only use the LCD monitor for my computer.

I'm a firstie and I still use one.
CRT is the best way to play the classics.

Moved on to LCDs 10 years ago

Thanks, the S-video input looks great and I got it for a whopping 35$ on FB marketplace. It took weeks of being patient checking for listings that weren't horrendously overpriced. It's a 35incher so it weighs a fuckton and wasn't fun bringing it up the stairs, but I'd say it was worth it.
Nice, I was thinking of picking up a sega saturn as well, what are your favorite games for it?

we got a plasma tv for the 2010's WC

>what are your favorite games for it?
Saturn Bomberman Fight is quite fun in multiplayer. Jung Rhythm is a Parappa clone that is actually pretty good, and Sonic R is at least aesthetically pleasing. NiGHTS is a game you obviously have to play, and the Saturn port of Primal Rage is the best, and these are still relevant since the arcade version can't be properly emulated.

>sega saturn
Not him but my personal favorites were Dragon Force and Magic Knight Rayearth.
And the Saturn port of Ogre Battle has the best graphics and some extra maps.

I recently scored this bad boy, but good chunk of the circuit has been cannibalized before I was born by the looks of it. Anybody knows good supplier of vacuum tubes?

I spent a long time debating between a Sony trinitron set with S-video or a Magnavox set with YPbPr and s-video. Both for free on fb marketplace. Ended up snagging the magnavox but I'm still envious when I see a set like yours.
S-video is great but I had too many component cables lying around (Wii, PS2/PS3, Xbox) to let them go to waste.

i only used them for my photography projects

>le superior motion clarity
Does not count when watching content that is 30 fps at best. So CRT are worse in every single metric for movies.
