If indians hate hindi and see it as a slave language, what ducking language is someone interested in india meant to learn then?
If indians hate hindi and see it as a slave language...
>If indians hate hindi and see it as a slave language
literally when did this ever happen?
tamils dislike hindi because they feel hindi is being imposed on them but other than that nobody hates hindi
Turn off your vpn loojeet & rape some under age dalit girl
I hate H*ndi, Not Tamil, pooinloo
I hate H*ndi, am Not Tamil, pooinloo
Bengali
What a chad
Sanskrit
What? All Indians are a mix of Indo-Aryan, Neolithic Iranian Farmers, and Ancestral Ancient Indians (except for NE Indians) iirc. Even Tamils have Indo-Aryan hertiage don't they?
English
Why isnt language supremacy a problem in EU countries, like in india? All countries in the EU are almost like a single nation. Someone from germany can go live in france anytime they want and someone from spain can to denmark.
But no one says every country should speak one language. They learn the language of the place they move to and use english if they are living temporarily. There are no language wars.
In india people expect locals of non-hindi states to speak hindi instead of learning the language of the state. They demand a 3 language policy that hindi should be displayed everywhere and take dominance over the local language.
This.
Sanskrit is the only true pure hindu language.
Tamil
Well it was a problem, during the formation of the nation states, one language was privileged and imposed on the rest of the nation
did you forget to turn your vpn on
it sounds very autistic
south indians won't accept it because sanskrit belongs to the indo-european family and not to the dravidian family of languages.
autism
it's because soyth indians think it's completely fine to speak english but not hindi. and you need a common language in a country and hindi is spoken by an overwhelming majority in contrast to other languages that are practically useless outside their states
south indians will learn hindi tho if they come to delhi or UP
Yes. And even linguistically, Sanskrit has Tamil influences and vice versa. The whole language debate is just bullshiet from the beginning.
>south indians
Tamils*
Most south indians besides them don't give a shiet about this except some fringe parties involved in politics.
India is more regionalistic and people favour their local regional language more. People don't think they are "enslaved" by hindi or some shit they just want everyone to respect their regional language. I don't have a problem with that but I do have a problem when I have to talk someone who primarily speaks a language that I don't and won't switch to Hindi (or just any common language) even If they are fluent in it, making things difficult for no reason whatsoever other than "muh mother tongue".
Would those types have a problem speaking English with you instead of Hindi?
it's because their native languages are practically useless outside their states so they have no option but to learn hindi. on the other hand hindi can be used perfectly fine in the south so hindi speakers have no need to go out of their way to learn the local language. i'm a northie in south and i've had no difficulty in talking to people in hindi, everybody understands it just fine.
it's true. i don't live in tn but i was in chennai and mahabalipuram for a few days 2 years ago and most people seemed to understand hindi.
Should have revived Sanskrit and made it the official language so that no one group has a linguistic advantage over the other, similar to how israel revived hebrew.
>Indians making an effort on anything
We had to fight a fucking civil war solely because they refused to let go of b*ngali
Really fuck those guys, I hope they drown soon.
You can take Bangladesh back. Waste Bengal as well while you're at it.
Yes, but if needed they would rather choose English over Hindi because Hindi le bad and English le hip and cool. South Indians are the most notorious for this even though not all of them are like that and most just don't know Hindi/never got a chance to learn it and I'm fine with that.
Well it makes sense to me
My family is Chinese and my uncle has a thing about speaking only English to Chinese people who speak Mandarin even though he's perfectly capable of conversing in Mandarin
Well if both parties understand English thats all fine and dandy
Hindi is just a bastardized version of Urdu, which is the original Hindustani. If I had my way Urdu would be India’s official language. It’s so much more soulful, and the script is objectively more beautiful than Devanagari.
