Uh, that's what the board is for. I mean don't get me wrong, it's not a big deal asking for something in a thread (at least compared to making one), especially on a board like Any Forums. Chances here are probably better, too, that someone knows. But it's not like there's something like a question that's too dumb to ask on /wsr/. If anything, if it were mega dumb anons would just make fun of you and one or two would probably give you the answer anyway. It's legitimate but boring/uninteresting or legitimate but very hard questions that usually don't get any posts whatsoever.
On an unrelated note, why are parentheses not really being used in modern Japanese? Or at least not that I'm aware of. I basically never ever see them in written text.

You shouldn't use parentheses in written text if you can achieve the same result with standard grammar.

Nah, in general. Everything that a set of parentheses does can be done with nothing more than grammar.
You can post here, it's a japanese language majority thread, but the occasional english post is ok
