I am not Bulgarian by heritage and I have never been to Bulgaria, but I have always felt a spiritual connection with this country ever since I first heard of the country. When I hear the name or see the flag, I feel that this is who I am. I have read about Bulgarian history and culture and I see myself in it. I have looked at their architecture and their natural landscape, and I think, yes, this is who I am. It is like something from a dream. As if it is my true home calling out to me.
