Don't know about that, all I know is that portuguese represent more than a third of Luxembourg's population and that they made changes to the law so that speaking Luxembourgish fluently is mandatory to acquire citizenship, most likely to prevent waves upon waves of portuguese from becoming citizens overnight, not like that would make much difference in the long term
