Russia runs out of POTATOES

>Russia's McDonald's replacement runs low on fries
>Some restaurants in the newly opened "Tasty and that's it" fast food chain, which replaced McDonald's in Russia, will temporarily stop serving fries, according to Russian media.
>A shortage of the correct variety of potatoes means diners will have to find a different side dish to accompany their burgers and nuggets.
>The company says it expects to have fries back on the menu by autumn.

This is absolutely hilarious

Why, off all things, they have to rebrand it as it was some sort of knockoff Adidas?

That’s true

american propaganda
absolutely based

They can't use MacDonald's brand, so they had to replace it with something.

Ah, my mistake

>A shortage of the correct variety of potatoes
it's simply time to invent another recipe of fries with different variety of potatoes.

Sure, but why Adidas? Is this some sort of subconscious russian tendency?

The fastfood is atrocious as it is, but I find it absurd that they run out of potatoes in Russia, of all places
Or is my perception of your potato abundance wrong?

>Russia's McDonald's replacement runs low on fries
This has been already debunked. Nice libshit propaganda though.

Everything about it is lazy shit. The reason is that it isn't a real business.

It is supposed to represent a burger and two fries
However stupid that sounds, I believe it, considering the name for the franchise they came up with

>Sure, but why Adidas?
What?

Yes, the article is just a hoax to make Russia look bad.

Business insiders say the new owners couldn't cooperate with the suppliers properly so the supply chains are all fucked up now

Such a shame they didn't come up with a nicer name though. I'd like to see something with the [Z] in the name.

No more fries for you, Russian dogs.
This is the true power and potential of NATO sanctions.
Surely, you will end your campaign to destroy Ukraine now. No man can live without fries.

I R E L A N D

I remember reading that Russia imported something like 80% of potato "seeds", I'm not sure if it has fallen under sanctions or not. Also if you want to make fries you need specific potato for it not to come out as a limp soggy mess.

I rebunked it
