Babbies first philosophy book would definitely be stranger by Camus, or some Kant I guess.

Please recommend some philosophy, economics, etc.

bnw is the exact book I would have said when I was an underageposter because we studied it at school
also the jojo pic as the other user said

>Implying enlightened nihilism isn't still just nihilism

The Will To Live still fails to explain sacrifice (which occurs by great/wise men on a daily basis).

Philosophy, if anything, is a reflection of the author's state of being - not matter how objective they purport to be. This is why the only philosophy works I enjoy are ancient ones (e.g. Greece, India, China etc.)

understandable

What the fuck is will to live? Will to power is the exact opposite, a will towards expending oneself vs a will to conserving oneself. And nietzsche is one of the main proponents of philosophy as an autobiography. You just agreed with him in two significant ways.

The will to power** sorry wishes to propose a psuedo-biological explanation for virtue. But how do you explain sacrifice (for another or for the permanent interest of the polis)?

The one thing I agree with Nietzsche on is his interpretation of Guilt.
