it's just 'black forest cake' in English but literally it's
'black forest cherry torte/cake' (a torte is a kind of layered cake with fillings)

That being said, the best cake near me is the strawberry cake from this Japanese bakery. The frosting is light and not too sweet, and honestly it's a 10/10 cake. Not sure you could improve on it if you tried.
