One of these pictures has properties that do not waste $30,000+ of urban land costs for parking, and likely has the public transport to support this and allow you to work without spending $10,000+ a year on cars

In Oregon, they already banned single family zoning, all residential areas must allow townhouses, duplexes, and triplexes

And this is not far enough imo. We need to charge a higher tax on land area and abolish charging tax per property unit, expand transit and do away with requiring parking spaces entirely

Most of Texas sucks. Lubbock is no exception. The parts of Texas that are good are REALLY good though
