Do you love japan?
Do you love japan?
stop posting my wife
what are you gonna do about it
Yeah
I've read a dozen Japanese authors and tried to study classical Japanese literature
I've watched nearly all of Kurosawa's films and have tried to watch as many Japanese films as I could get my hands on
I've tried watching Taiga dramas but unfortunately the youtube account I was watching them on got banned
I own a Shakuhachi and am about to buy a Ryuteki, I love Gagaku music and wish I could play it although it mostly seems to be cultists who like it these days
I love Japanese arts and crafts especially instrument making, cabinet making, box making, lacquerware, netsuke and just general carpentry
Japan seems to be a beautiful country but I will never visit
I've studied Japanese cuisine and I love eating Japanese food
My great grandparents were chased out of their village by Japanese soldiers during WW2
initiate me in the art of non anime jap kino sensei
ooooh husbando... Abe is dead now... we can not have a sexu anymore...
No. I hate the asian hivemind culture
I rove those lil riggers rike you wourdn't berieve.
I love Japan
I will avenge Abe-san or die trying
That's going to be hard because it depends on what you like and I'd be worried about recommending something that might put you off them
I think the safest bets are going to be Yojimbo, Ran, High and Low, Samurai Rebellion or The Sword of Doom
I promise you, right, that I will follow these recs from 1st to last, cause I appreciate it. There is one type of film I already searched for though namely something with modern Tokyo as the location, whichever genre it may be.
Right now I only have youtube for my fix
Rip
Hahahaha
Man it never gets old
Well you could watch Dersu Uzala
It's in Russian but it was directed by Kurosawa

Another absolute classic

The 47 Ronin is a classic but might not be very accessible
There's probably more but these are the main ones I know that are available on youtube, inb4 not available in your region
japanese kino? search "takeshi kitano films" and watch all of them.
I don't really like modern Japanese films except anime films like ghibli, the only ones I enjoyed was Noroi the Curse and Ichi the Killer
