be McDonald's wage-cuck in USA >$8 an hour pay >no sick time >no vacation time >no parental leave >can be fired on the spot for no reason >shitty healthcare plan with $5000 deductible with premium of $250 a month >15 min unpaid lunch break >effective tax rate is 16%
be McDonald's union-chad in Denmark >$24 an hour pay >unlimited sick time >6 weeks paid vacation >1.5 years of parental leave >cannot be fired without cause >healthcare is 100% covered >1 hour paid lunch break >effective tax rate is 16%
America is like a business venture masquerading as a country

Americans love being slaves and it's why half of the country waves the flag of a failed state that fought to keep them Americans love being whipped little sheep FAGGOTS

my retail union can't even get us medical, the health plan they negotiated only covers dental & vision. on the off chance you get full time your break is extended to 30 minutes, but you still have to punch out. so full timers don't even take lunch because they don't want to stay an extra half hour.

I have access to the HR database of a German engineering company with 20k employees that's their salary distribution
basically it doesn't matter how skilled you are as an engineer, you never earn more than HR bitches. They're likely even better paid than you
>janitor makes 40k they make like $9 an hour here, before tax
Luke Taylor
tech lead overseeing team of 350 people earns 90k

More like amerikkkka we are slaves to an unholy alliance of banks and stupidity and god has long left this land

Only software, electrical, and computer engineers make more in the USA. Otherwise salaries are the same across the board. I am a mechanical engineer and my colleagues in Germany and Denmark actually make more than me after taxes, and they get tons of benefits I don't get, like 5 weeks paid vacation, sick time, parental leave, and full healthcare coverage.

wtf. i thought americans earned more, yet had to spend more. how do you even survive on 8 dollar an hour in the usa?
Because americans worship corporations. Whenever unions or workers complain about working conditions they’re labeled as lazy or communist. They’re still stuck in the cold war mentality.
Lots of low-wage working Americans "survive" by living/sleeping in their cars or on the streets, stealing food from dumpsters, performing self-surgery with kitchen knives and sewing needles since we can't afford healthcare, and going without food for some days of the week.
That's the current pay for McD, BK, Wendy's etc starting out in my city (San Antonio).
That's a rare exception, and puts him in the top 0.5% of earners in the country. Also, that guy is not a lifeguard but the chief management executive of the lifeguard rescue agency, so closer to a CEO/high level government bureaucrat.
Median annual income in the USA for adults is 32k. Meaning, more than 50% of American adults make less than 32k a year.
