Most slavic countries willingly joined the nazis and actively participated in the holocaust, their participation was only referred to as "nazi occupation" after the war because they didn't want to be held responsible for the warcrimes. The only slavic group the nazis had a problem with were the poles because the germans had claims on their territory.

More than one third of Poles were assimilated, Hitler was also rather fond of the Czechs as "they had been ruled over by Germans for so long, that their character and achievements are chiefly Germanic in nature" including other Slav groups, like Ukrainians, of whom there were entire SS battalions. The more anti-slav harsh talk came after the war when there was a reason to propagandise, but never were they "subhuman".
