The 2016 consensus on anglo 'ancestry' refers to people that have 1st or 2nd generation immigrant parents from the UK, not whether or not the Australian settlers were from the UK as a whole

People think for some reason that Canada has a lot of muslims and very little blacks when it's uniorncally the complete opposite. I think it's from constantly being comapred to the USA who has a very very small muslim minority but are also the blackest nation in the western world.
Two points to highlight this
1) Canada has less muslims per capita than Italy, compared to europe and espically europe we have a very small muslim and mena population.
2) If Canada were in europe we woudl be the second blackest country on the contienent only to France
