When I was a kid in school I made friends with the 1st/2nd gen immigrants so yeah kind of
I had 3 Greek friends, 1 South African friend, 2 British friends, 1 Chinese friend, 1 Serbian friend and 1 Turkish friend

I'm not depressed nor a loser. Probably just inherently unlikable as a person, no other person ever returned my assertiveness, and foreigners serve as an easy escape.
You know, I think there's enough cultural clashes among your own people, after some time you learn not to care

It's pretty normal. Foreigners tend to stimulate more our curiosity and you're probably more prone to justify dumb things because of cultural differences and linguistic difficulties.

Yeah. My closest friends were a German and a French Canadian. The German was a bit of an ameriboo though, so I think that helped clear up a lot of cultural differences.
