By portraying herself as having very picky and high standards, she wants to make men feel like she's a real catch, so they have to try hard to please her. it's normal within a certain % for all races. But when you see a huge imbalance for some races, I suspect there's a bit of self hatred going on, or maybe a clash of values. I also think there are self-esteem issues with ugly people having very picky standards, as if they need an attractive partner to make themselves feel attractive. I've seen 10/10 date some real uggos (both men and women), and they didn't care that other people thought they were unmatched. Because they already know they're attractive and desirable, they didn't need an attractive partner to validate that.

That's what I think too, but there could be other factors. Growing up in a culture where the media shows only the majority ethnicity, you might identify with them more than your own family. There's also brown girls who claim they don't date brown guys because "they're too strict/old-fashioned/jealous" but idk if that's what they really think or just a cope.

There are a lot of Korean girls where I live and I always skip them not because I think they are fake but because I learned from Any Forums that they are even worse than brown girls and will only date white dudes.
