It is basically another poor russian oblast. They have some sorts of institutions but it is obvious that people who on charge of them will do what Moscow tells them to do. But they don't mind it.

It did already. Several job opportunities slip by me already when I was almost guaranteed to get it at one point. Companies simply started to refuse to hire me because I live in Russia even if I do remote work.
In this way it affects me, it affects me in increasing prices on products. However it doesn't concern me in a way where I cheer up whenever some of the sides in this conflict make a report about blowing up another portion of misfortune serfs who were dragged into this meatgrinder.
