No. But we love german tourists, they're weird, but discreet and will buy anything you shove under their nose. Way better than those british cunts or that russian apes. Also when a german tourist chooses his personal spot, he's set for life, and every year he'll come back, as will his sons and grandsons after him
Didn't you claim one time that you have genuine german (or even prussian) ancestry? If so, do you know from where your forebearer originated?
>and will buy anything you shove under their nose
One time I was in Rome and got a "buy one get one for free" deal on wine. Loaded myself up. Thank you to the nice italien shopkeep lady.
>so when a german tourist chooses his personal spot, he's set for life, and every year he'll come back,
True lmao
sm h you got me. Yea I do. My family in Australia was (and still is, just not my branch) large Cattle herders and somebody decided to make a book about our ancestry. It goes back to 1846 and I know my dad's got a copy somewhere so I'll get back to you on that.
I love Germany and Austria and Switzerland.
of course i do
Alright update, no idea where they were from exactly, all I know is they left for Australia from Hamburg in 1846. I know they are from Prussia, but that's about it. Don't know where from exactly.
I don't love any country really. I think Germans are wierd to be around I met some once. But I think Hitler was cool.
Hitler wasnt german you ignoramus
Still neat stuff. Ultimately it does not matter in my book. If somebody wants to adopt a culture he is free to do so, but should not be overbearing about it.
The 1830s and 40s were tumultuous times in Germany but without a geographic localization of your forebearers it would be a large effort post to list everything off. And I don't feel like it.
>My family in Australia was (and still is, just not my branch) large Cattle herders
That is a common theme for many german emigrant. Due to the industrialization, the concentration of agrarian space under few wealth landowners and failed harvests many left for the new worlds to start their own agrarian "empires".
BBC
4u then >I know they are from Prussia
Doesn't help much since Prussia was by that time the largest state (by area) within the German Confederation. They could be from Silesia, Hannover, the Rhineland, etc.
I thought austrians were the same as Germans?
meh I'm just memeing when it comes to the German stuff. Like I know about it, it's just something fun to point out on Any Forums for a laugh or two.
> the concentration of agrarian space under few wealth landowners and failed harvests many left for the new worlds to start their own agrarian "empires".
An interesting motivation. I feel like (at least for my Irish ancestors in Australia) it's just that he wanted more. It's cool to me that the branches of my family were more or less peasant nobodies, came here and made their own Cattle kingdoms, inspirational in a sense to me. It's not a small amount of land either. The largest family had an estate larger than modern Qatar. Out in the Northern territory there wasn't many people that had the skills and 'good standing' that weren't large cattle owners so it's just that my Irish and German ancestors married into each other's families.
Eventually I would like to find out where exactly they are from and how far back I can find records.
Yeah pushing the german button usually guarantees some (you)s. Albeit I think you have overdone your threads a bit. They are always quite similar - regarding the women in the pictures.
>The largest family had an estate larger than modern Qatar.
Holy based. Yeah that was the thing. The old world is quite small and all the good land is already owned by quasi (in modern times corporate) dynasties. The new worlds just offered more opportunities.
>Eventually I would like to find out where exactly they are from and how far back I can find records.
Depends on the sources available to you. Maybe the relevant documents are still somewhere in an old attic? But good luck finding them!
cute
Yes they are cool and nice. Also I am reading a book by the German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk (he is cool and smart)
Sovl overdose
>They could be from Silesia, Hannover, the Rhineland, etc.
That's just not true, only lands included in Brandenburg-Prussia count as Prussia. And even that's stretching it. If your ancestral lands aren't being occupied by Poland and Russia you're not Prussian.
Depends of my mood.
I like playing as them on Hell let Loose.
That's pretty much it.
I only like asian girls, horse faced white "women" are not my thing unless they have big booba
>Sloterdijk
dangerously based. are you reading pic related per chance?
Registries in America (and i assume other new world nations) usually didn't specify exactly where people were coming from, and since much of Germany was under Prussian control by the mid 19th century when German immigrants started coming here en masse, most are just recorded as having come from Prussia. Which is why there are so many nordic as fuck Prussian nationalists out there, even though many of their ancestors were probably not too happy about being ruled by Prussia in reality.
That's pretty grim, so most people can't trace their line more than a few generations?
