When I asked locally to adopt the consultations first question was Bulgarian or Gypsy? Then, quite interesting, I was told that the risk of adopting a Bulgarian child is higher because usually for a Bulgarian child to be left for adoption there is either mental or physical disability of the child or it's the result of rape, drug addicted mother and so one. Whilst gypsy children are often given away because this is what gypsies tend to do on a regular, so there the risk is quite lower. Not nice to talk about children as if they are a commodity just found it interesting so I share it with you
